DIMONA TAKE PENTICON TO THEIR FIRST LOSE

Although Dimona had their number 1 pitcher on the mound the Penticon boys were able to give them a run for their money. With some good hitting and fielding the game ended with Dimona scoring against the Bod only 9 runs while Penticon were able to score 6.

Just a bit of input here on Dimona's other games , they lost to Ziontours which put ZT in first as of now.

Final Score :   9-6
TRI UNITED PROTEST TECHNICAL LOSE TO PENTICON

It was a bad day for the Boys and defense was looking really horrible with the exception of Ben Fleightman who has shown great improvement over the years.

The score was 9 -3 in favor of the TU squad when an unusal incident turned the whole game into a fiasco. Getting into a run down , Jeff Mor , trying to get back to 3rd ran into 3rd baseman David Aron and as according to what was said threw his elbow into the chest of Aron , injurying him .
As it sometimes happens in our League , umpires are not always available and this time Jeff Perry assigned Bob Kessler to umpire this game.
We all know this is not such a healthy situation but that's what we have to live with .
Umpire Kessler ousted Mor for unsportmanlike conduct leaving the TU team with only 8 players thus a forfeit was declared. The TU captain  lodged a protest of the game on the basis of misinterpretation of the rules.
In the opinion of the editor , i don't give TU much of chance on their protest as in my view it is a subjective point of view on behalf of the Umpire. But you never know, the Protest committee will have an answer very soon and this case will be resolved and the Teams can go on from there.

Final Score :  7-0 (pending)

BODNERS RELIEF PITCHER GETS THE WIN

Mark Bodner has held his own for the last few games with starter Baran on the injury list. Pitching well against the Magic he was able to hold them to 3 runs and only a handful of hits while the Boys tied up the game against MH pitcher Itamar Megiddo.

The Boys were not able to get that "extra run" for the Bod before Baran entered the game. A reminder Baran has been out with a shoulder injury for the past few weeks and came in the game trying to "feel" if he is ready to step back in the starting position.

Pitching from place without really putting any heat on the ball  Baran and his defense were able to hold MH and on using their sticks as they all know how the Boys scored 7 more runs ending the game at 10 - 3 .

Some great plays by SS Flieghtman, CF Goldberg helped the Bod hold MH to the 3 runs and of course SOME of the guys were able to get the runs needed for the win. Mark Meyerfeld hit a fantastic line drive to the outfield resembling some of his younger years but the young guns of the Boys still need to prove themselves especially Kunda, Netanel and Maddy who have all been selected for the National Team.

Final Score:  10 - 3
